Carpe Vinum was born out of Tor’s love for drinking bubbles and wine with friends at the neighbourhood farms, down Redford Road, in the Crags. And so, Carpe Vinum – A Crags Collective of locally produced wines and MCC came about. These bottles of joy are available to taste and buy at the BDJ Café – As close to cellar prices (or better) as you can get… We strive to bring you quality at the best possible prices! Bramon Wine Estate
Bramon Wine Estate 2000c, a boutique Wine Estate (250 ton Cellar), is the first Estate so far East of the Western Cape. It is the first estate to pioneer vineyards in the Plettenberg Bay area, only 20 km away from the town itself. The previously family-run estate pushed the boundaries of wine-making with their award-winning, non-traditional and traditional Méthode Cap Classique bubblies and still wines, collecting national and international awards.

Kay & Monty Vineyards
Set in the lush rolling hills of The Crags in the heart of the Plett Wine Route – South Africa’s smallest “Wine of Origin” production area – Kay & Monty Vineyards is a small, family-owned wine farm with just under eight hectares of land under vine. Our charming tasting room and restaurant offer a relaxed location for long, unhurried lunches served family-style in a converted orchid greenhouse, which also transforms into an elegant wedding venue for celebrations both large and small.

Newstead Wine Estate
We believe that small is special. We know and nurture each vine. We pay meticulous attention to detail, prioritising quality over quantity. We take the unusual step of using netting over our vines, which results in unusually good grapes: they’re some of the most unblemished any farmer is ever likely to see, and they’re put to good use by our award-winning winemaker, Anton Smal. Newstead has been described as the best kept secret inside the South African wine industry.

Whiskey Creek Wines is a family-owned boutique vineyard tucked into the beautiful valley of The Crags, where the Whiskey Creek flows through cool-climate vineyards surrounded by forest and sea.
